By Carol Field Dahlstrom Review by Laura V. Hilton AN ORAMENT A DAY includes ideas to make 25 sparkling holiday trims for your tree or as gifts. Patterns and instructions are included for ornaments such as:
Glistening Stars Evergreen Star Polka Dot Mitten Golden Cone Bouquet Snowy Trim Playful Pinwheel and many more
The instructions are easy to follow and include readily available ‘ingredients.’ Patterns are included for those who require them. Ms. Dahlstrom also includes ideas for taking care of your special ornaments and how to store them from year to year.
We decided to make ornaments this year to give as Christmas gifts for teachers, and today my four children, ranging in age from three- to fifteen-years-old, tried to make a design called Swirls. It calls for clear ornaments and colored finger nail polish. The ornaments were easy to make, kept the kids entertained for over an hour and turned out beautiful. I was very pleased with them and looking forward to trying out more of these crafts. 63 pages. $8.95.
