It was good revisiting Katie as a grown up and not the precious little girl she was in the first book, and revisiting with some of the other characters and seeing how their life turned out. I’d like to see a book with Katie’s brother as a hero. The characters are realistically developed and the faith message is expertly woven in. I think this is Vickie’s best book to date, and can’t wait to read more by this talented author. Fans of historical romances will not want to miss this story.
