The FAC—Friday Afternoon Club—is an afternoon time for six ladies to share in each other’s lives, past and present, swap recipes, and share some household hints. Mary Alice, a wonderful housekeeper, cook, and devotee of scrapbooking, shares a mystery about her father, who disappeared in the 60s. Who knew that Mary Alice wasn’t even her real name?

After receiving her father’s effects, including an old mini-bus decorated in the "Flower People" way, the women discover clues to follow, hoping to find out what really happened to Mary Alice’s father and why he disappeared when she was a baby.

A trip down memory lane recalls the turbulent time of the 60s and provides lots of humor and peeks into the personalities of each of the ladies. For instance, we have Lizzie, a busy wife and mom and a not-so-great housekeeper, who has a big heart and loves chocolate. Then there’s Marina, very confident and a member of the local police force, who is a take charge woman!
