I’ve read other books by Linda Nichols, and true to form, she’s taken a broken world and welded it back together, with the help of the Lord. Dorrie is a realistic heroine, acting just how I imagine I would if I’d been forced to give a child up. And Joseph, true to form is suspicious of the woman carrying his niece’s photo. I found the whole story line believable, and the story was entertaining, though not a quick read. It’s a book you have to find the time for, a book you have to devote yourself to, this is not a fluff-book.
