Robin Rae has always dreamed of being a song writer/singer. She’s got the voice of an angel. Only problem is, she’s afraid to sing in front of people. Third step, quit her job at the local grocery store and load pick up. At first, Nashville is a big adventure. Robin Rae is quick to make new friends, but when she lands her first gig she’s ready to run. Will Robin Rae find the strength she needs to pursue life in Nashville, or will she run home to Ricky? LOST IN NASHVEGAS is a fun, southern chick lit about a loveable girl with downhome family, sweet as anything, and never met a stranger. Robin Rae takes that friendly attitude with her into Nashville, and even a stranger stranded on the highway is an instant friend. I couldn’t help but wish Robin Rae the best as she ventured into her new life, though I understood her mama’s concerns too. There are some original lyrics included in LOST IN NASHVEGAS which sound like they’d be lovely songs. I would have liked to know the music to some of them. The faith message is woven in flawlessly, and the characters are loveable. Discussion questions are included at the end of the book.
