All Michael Thorn wants is to peacefully retire and enjoy life with his wife and children. James Byron Huggins has long established himself as a superb storyteller, and he doesn’t disappoint in this latest thriller. This is an action-packed tale chocked full of intense fight scenes and hardcore suspense. The novels strengths are found in the perfectly executed action sequences that are nothing less than exhilarating.

While this novel isn’t overtly Christian in nature, there are obvious themes of faith and hope that are effectively interwoven throughout the plot. Thorn’s spiritual journey throughout the story is both real and intriguing. This is a character readers will love to root for. I highly recommend this novel for fans of suspenseful thrillers with a supernatural edge.
