Your Mother Has Alzheimer’s by Margaret Byers, Ann Guyer, and Nancy Willich Review by David Mundt

If you are the primary care-giver of an Alzheimer's patient or know someone who is, this book is a must-read. Written by three sisters, this book provides an insider's look into caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s. It is their story of caring for their mother. It is written with great sensitivity and provides down-to-earth insights that these sisters wished they had learned earlier in their journey.  

Shortly after I read this book, I sat with these three gals in our church cafe. They are warm, genuine, quick to laugh, and eager to help others. Pick up this book, read it, and then consider inviting these gals to your church or community to lead their seminar for Alzheimer caregivers. 

If you are caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s, you may be facing a long and exhausting journey, but thanks to Margaret, Ann, and Nancy, you don't have to face it alone. They have taken the journey ahead of us, and are now providing help and hope for us who follow them.
